Nottingham Forest hosts Bournemouth at the City Ground in a match from the opening first round of the Premier League. Stay with us and wait for our Over/under soccer predictions for major leagues. Let’s go!
Nottingham Forest proved their critics wrong as they managed to survive in the Prem for another season. In December the club appointed Tottenham’s former manager Nuno Espirito Santo, and it proved to be the right decision. Nuno stabilised the team and allowed Forest to survive.
On the transfer market Nottingham Forest decided to spend some money. The former European champions signed Newcastle’s midfielder Elliot Anderson while they also bought Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, Red Star’s Marko Stamenic and Vitoria Guimaraes’ Jota Silva. Pay some special attention to the 18-years old winger Eric da Silva Moreira who was signed from German club St. Pauli. He could be an interesting prospect for the future.
Forest signed themselves a new goalkeeper as well. This is the 25-years old Brazilian Carlos Miguel. He arrives from Corinthians.
Just like Forest, Bornemouth will have the goal to survive and keep their place in the Premier League. The Cherries are doing very good with their Spanish manager Andoni Iraola, but consistency is key here – they need to do well for the majority of the season. And that’s the hard pard.
On the market Bournemouth signed some new players as well. The Cherries bought Leeds United’s Colombian winger Luis Sinisterra while they also signed Getafe’s striker Enes Unal. Bournemouth made two other ambitious moves as well – they signed Juventus’ Dean Huijsen and Barcelona’s right-back Julian Araujo.
That’s the Over/under soccer predictions for major leagues for the Premier League clash between Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth. Both teams signed some new players this summer so we expect to see them in fine shape. But let’s wait and see – they shall prove it on the pitch.
